         This Catalogue is an important reference book of  plant  taxonomy,
       resulted  from   The   accumulation   during   author   many   years
       administration work in the herbarium. The most valuable list of  some
       9484  species  and  infraspecific  treats   Bryophyta,  Pteridophyta,
       Gymnosperms and Angiosperms,In each group, all The name  of  species,
       genera and families are arranged alphabetically,  The  classification
       of Pteridophyta follows Qin Renchang's(R.C.Ching's)system;   that  of
       Gymnosperms follows Zheng Wanjun's (W. C. Cheng's) system;   that  of
       Angiosperms follows A,Engler's 1936) system, For each  taxon  listed,
       the following information is provided: scientific name, reference  to
       original publication, the Chinese common name, type locality, date of
       collection, collector(s) and  field  numbers,   kind  of  type,   and
       abbreviation of the name of the herbarium or  institution  where  the
       type specimens is deposited. The list will not only benefit taxonomic
       and floral studies of China and the managment of herbaria,  but  also
       in future provide reference to a thorough sorting  out  of  the  type
