 The Numerical Taxonomy Group will have its annual meeting (NT26) June 18-19
concurrently with CSNA-94.  The format of the meeting will be similar to
that last year in Pittsburgh.  A joint session is planned for Saturday, as
well as a contributed paper session.  A Special Session on "Recent advances
in the methodology of molecular phylogenetics" has been organized by
Professor Wen-Hsiung Li for Sunday morning.  The speakers include Y.-X. Fu,
W.-H. Li, D. Sankoff, and M. Steel. The program concludes late Sunday
afternoon with a contributed paper session.  Papers in any area of NT are
welcome.  Contact Buck McMorris (frmcmo01 at ulkyvx.louisville.edu) or George
Estabrook (george.estabrook at um.cc.umich.edu) if you would like to present a
paper or organize a session.
