New MUSE Software Mailing List

MUSE-L Muse Software Discussion List


We recently established a BITNET Listserv mailing list for individuals
interested in the MUSE collection database software.  Subscription to the
mailing list is open.

E-mail messages sent to the list are automatically sent to all list
subscribers and to a complete archive listing in the Biodiversity and
Biological Collections Gopher (huh.harvard.edu 70).

To subscribe to the "MUSE-L" mailing list, send an e-mail message addressed
to:

    listserv at harvarda.harvard.edu   (note 'harvarda' is correct)

within the body of the message include this line of text:

    subscribe MUSE-L your name here

the Listserv program will automatically extract your e-mail address from the
header of your mail message and then send you a confirmation message.

To send a message discussing MUSE issues, e-mail to:

   MUSE-L at harvarda.harvard.edu

To learn more about the MUSE software:

   1) Gopher to the MUSE directory in the Biodiversity and Biological
      Collections Gopher, or
   2) FTP to huh.harvard.edu;  cd /pub/software/muse, or
